Harvest Moon Gathering & Goat Snuggle

September 21, 2024 – 6:00pm-9:00pm

The "Harvest Moon" dates from the time before electricity, when farmers depended on the Moon's light to harvest their crops late into the night. It is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the abundance that summer has gifted us and prepare us for a season of contemplation and self care.

We will be doing a burning ceremony releasing bad habits, regrets, negative thought patterns and behaviours and then holding space for creativity, recipe and idea sharing. (Don't forget to bring your favourite fall recipe!)

Juliana from Beech + Grove Flower Farm will be leading us in a flower crown workshop so we can adorn ourselves with this years flower harvest.

Come indulge in a charcuterie board and some fall themed goodies by Demeter Catering from items sourced from local farms. We will be offering some hot apple cider and loose leaf teas to keep you warm by the fire. We also have goats to snuggle with and horses, rabbits, ducks and chickens to visit with.

We are in the beautiful Pontiac countryside and have a gorgeous view of the Eardley Escarpment. Come dressed comfortably for the weather as we will be outside.

Tickets are non-refundable however in the event you need to cancel, the price of a ticket can be transferred to another event. Please let us know as soon as possible (and in advance) if you cannot make your reservation.

You will be emailed a waiver to sign once you register so keep an eye out for it as you will not be able to visit with the goats without it (1 waiver per person)! You can sign and return it to mountainviewfarmqc@gmail.com or bring it the day of.
